JOANNA ZAKRZEWSKA

Born in 1976 in Rzeszow, Poland, where she graduated from high school of art. In 2001 Joanna graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in Professor Sękowski’s studio, Faculty of Sculpture (diploma with honors). In 1999 she was awarded art scholarship in Athens University in Greece. In 2001 she won the Grand Prix of at a competition under the patronage Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. for the sculpture project “AD ASTRA”.
Zakrzewska currently lives and works in Cracow. She creates her sculptures mainly in bronze.
