BIOGRAPHY

Born in Montreal, Linda Laflamme has lived on the South Shore since her childhood. She has always been drawing, started oil painting at the age of 10, but it was when she returned to UQAM en Art that she discovered acrylic and all the possibilities of mixed media. Intuitive and always in search of novelty, she continually develops her own technique. The self-taught in her succeeded in combining, for the sake of the environment, recycled materials that sculpt and shape the painting, as well as a constant search for color transparency.
