Born 1968 in Montreal, Quebec
A poet of images, music and words, Francis left college to focus on his artwork. In his twenties, he published two poetry books, participated in many poetry collectives and readings, and recorded an album under an independent label. A few years later he invented and constructed an antique photographic camera made from paper, which functions with a real 35mm negative. After having sold his invention he traveled for three years from the Czech Republic to North Africa. In 2011, he began to shoot movies, and his short film 'Namure ou Lethe' was selected for the FLIGHT Film Festival in Genova, Italy. In 2014, after living and painting for more than 10 years in Thailand, he moved to China for 3 years and then to Hanoi, Vietnam…
His paintings have been exhibited all over the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, and Alberta. He also exhibited for three years in Pont-Aven, Brittany and in an art gallery in Bastille, France.
